Built from simple rectangles using classic log cabin construction, it comes together with just 7 fat quarters and zero set-in seams.

MATERIALS

  • 7 fat quarters (center block through outer border)
  • Backing: 1 yard if pieced, 1½ yards for no piecing
  • Low-loft batting recommended

SKILL LEVEL
Beginner. If you can sew a straight seam, you can make this runner. All seams are a scant ¼", and the pattern assumes WOF (width of fabric) to be 40".

The pattern includes links to a few short video tutorials (fabric layout, straight cutting, straight-line quilting, and binding) for anyone new to quilting.
